In addition to the spoken word we consider sexual speech and expression to include the use of print, video, and still image to express sexual desire or identity, and to explore sexual curiosity. We understand this freedom to include the use of such sexual expression to arouse as well as to inform or to provide commentary.
Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance opposes censorship, and irrational governmental policies regarding obscenity and indecency. We are active in the Free Expression Network (FEN) and work closely with the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), and the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP). We have testified before Congress on these issues and conducted a Congressional briefing to address the issue of Freedom of Speech and Sexual Expression. We remain firmly committed to preserving the right to sexual freedom and erotic expression.
